- The Hidden Dangers
Most mold grows behind walls, under floors, in attics, and inside HVAC systems — completely invisible to the homeowner. By the time you smell it or see it, the problem is often extensive. A professional assessment finds it before it finds you.

What's Included -
A Complete, 90-Point Inspection Protocol Service
Our technicians follow a rigorous, standardized checklist across every zone of your home — nothing is guessed, nothing is skipped.
(IMPORTANT NOTICE: Avoid hiring the same company for mold inspection, testing, and mold remediation. This creates a conflict of interest, whereas the remediator might overstate the problem to increase their fees. Since we only provide inspection and testing services, you're receiving an unbiased assessment, ensuring that the inspection and testing are accurate and remediation is truly necessary.)

One of the most overlooked mold zones. We inspect decking, rafters, insulation, ventilation, and check for improperly vented exhaust fans that are a leading cause of attic mold.

ABOUT OUR MOLD TESTING SERVICE
Pure Care Maintenance offers mold testing service with or without our 90-Point Inspection Protocol service. Testing is conducted by an IICRC-certified mold inspection professional to determine if mold is a problem in your indoor spaces. If the test results indicate a mold issue, we can help you come up with a solution to resolve the issue quickly and affordably.
The type of testing we provide is air quality mold spore trap testing. Mold spore trap tests are the best kind of testing to determine the overall mold activity, the levels of mold, and the types of molds around
the tested areas. The testing results will then give us the best course of action you should take next. We serve the entire Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas, including Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton County, Lehigh County, Berks County, Montgomery County, Carbon County, and Monroe County in PA (additional mileage fees may apply for areas outside of our Lehigh Valley location).
About The Mold Tests
Our Air Quality Mold Spore Trap testing service verifies the levels and types of mold present in your home or facility. It's impossible to tell with the naked eye what type of mold you might have. Some types of mold, like the toxigenic "black molds", are harmful even in low quantities that are not yet visible. Pure Care Maintenance offers a mold testing service dedicated to keeping your indoor spaces safe and healthy, at a price that won't break the bank.

Frequently Asked Questions -
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before you book your inspection.
A typical single-family home inspection takes 2–4 hours, depending on the size of the property and the number of areas of concern. Larger homes or properties with extensive visible moisture issues may take longer. We never rush — every item on the 93-point checklist gets proper attention. Testing takes an additional 10-12 minutes per test.
We strongly recommend that you or an authorized representative be present. Your firsthand knowledge of where you've noticed odors, visible staining, or past water events is invaluable to our inspector. You'll also be able to ask questions in real time as findings are made.
A mold inspection is a visual and instrument-based assessment of the property to identify moisture sources, suspect mold growth, and at-risk areas. Mold testing involves collecting air or surface samples and sending them to a laboratory to identify the species and quantity of mold present. Our service combines both for the most complete picture of your indoor air quality.
Samples are submitted to our accredited laboratory partner the same day. Standard turnaround is 72 business hours. We then compile the full inspection report, including lab results, photos, moisture readings, and recommendations — typically delivered within 48 hours of the inspection.
No — and that's by design. We are a mold assessment and inspection company only. This separation of services is an industry best practice and ethical requirement: the company that identifies the problem should not be the same company paid to fix it. This eliminates conflict of interest and ensures our findings are completely unbiased. We provide clear remediation recommendations and can refer you to qualified contractors.
It depends on your policy and the cause of the mold. Mold resulting from a covered peril (like a burst pipe) may be covered. Mold from long-term moisture issues or deferred maintenance typically is not. We provide detailed documentation that can be submitted to your insurer, and we're happy to work with your insurance adjuster if needed.
We recommend an inspection if you notice a persistent musty odor, visible discoloration on walls or ceilings, experience unexplained respiratory symptoms, have had any water intrusion or flooding, are buying or selling a home, or have recently completed mold remediation and need clearance testing to confirm the problem was fully resolved.
